At this point, you mastered the most tricky parts of English language. You are at a proficient level and can feel free to take tests, to communicate with native speakers without much trouble. However, there are details in every language that need to be played with.
Modals have a wide range of use.
When can you use 'should', and when 'would'?
What is the difference between: 'I can play the piano.' and 'I could play the piano'?
You probably know the basics of modals, but it won't hurt to take a look and refresh your memory. Even though after years of learning most students use modals properly, there is always some degree of uncertainty. Therefore, go on and play a bit.
Inversion is more or less the same in every language. Most of you probably don't give much attention to inversion - most aren't even aware they use it! In order to point out some common rules and exceptions which are important and on which most student make mistakes, we present you with some underlying principles of inversion.
